Mullins Mullins Sexton & Reaves

About Liz Maddox

Liz Maddox became an associate with Mullins Mullins Sexton and Reaves in August of 2023. Liz focuses primarily on domestic and family law, as her practice and history evidence a deep desire to counsel and support clients through a difficult time.

Liz attended Oklahoma State University and obtained her B.S. in Psychology and Philosophy in 2020. While attending OSU, Liz enjoyed leadership positions in Chi Omega sorority, working in several research labs, and working as a barista at Aspen Coffee. Her involvement in college revolved around building a healthy and supportive community around her and she loved how her role as a barista enabled her to do so.

Liz also participated in extensive volunteer work and international mission trips throughout college. Another facet of her volunteer work included her time as a member of a cycling non-profit called Pedal the Pacific in 2018. This group raised funds and awareness for survivors of sex trafficking through riding bicycles from Seattle to San Diego and hosting community engagement events along the route. Liz made the decision to become an attorney due to the impact of her time as an advocate through Pedal the Pacific.

Liz attended law school at the University of Oklahoma College of Law and earned her J.D. in 2023. While earning her J.D., Liz remained involved as the Fundraising Chair of Pedal the Pacific, became a Court Appointed Special Advocate, and completed her Licensed Legal Internship at Palomar Family Justice Center. Liz also enjoyed her membership in the Organization for Women in Law and earned her place on the Dean’s Honor Roll. Liz also received the 2021 Hope Award from National Center for Missing and Exploited Children through her work with Pedal the Pacific while in law school.

In her free time, Liz enjoys traveling, cycling, and spending time with her spouse and their cocker spaniel, Jack. Liz has enjoyed building a life and a community that she loves in Oklahoma City.
